Niyama Yoga Retreats' Mission is to expose our clients and retreat attendees to the brilliant experience of Ananda. Ananda is achievable for all people. The Art of Ananda is a matter of being led by experienced, caring properly trained professionals to hold proper space to experience such.
Niyama Yoga Retreats
The Art of Ananda
Niyama Yoga Retreats was founded on the concept of valuing a traditional approach to honoring the 8 limbs of yoga while incorporating tangible methods in highly pranic environments to lead to ANANDA (आनन्द); or bliss-like life experiences. Yogic philosophy and Vedic texts invite one to experience a sense of balance, well-being, ease, happiness and joy in any given moment. This is Ananda. In accordance with our Founder Nicole Zornitzer’s Ayurvedic roots, Niyama Yoga Retreats offers our clients appropriate guidance and tools to experience Ananda.
Ananda is a feeling that is unlike any other; the moment we experience this bliss-like sensation our awareness of self deepens and our path to finding self-realization expands.
Yoga invites one to embrace the Koshas of the body, the Koshas are the five layers of the body.
The 5 Koshas are:
Physical Body (Ananamaya)
Energetic Body (Pranamaya)
Witness Self/Third Eye (Vijnanamaya)
Bliss Body (Anandamaya)
When the Koshas are out of balance in any particular layer the body will experience dis-ease. These Koshas are believed to surround our soul;when cared for appropriately a state of Ananda is achieved.
High Prana Environments
With an understanding of the 8 Limbs of Yoga, the Koshas and Ayurveda we become acutely aware of the need to expose ourselves to environments that foster growth and expansion of our mind / body connection. Therefore, at Niyama Yoga Retreats we take our clients to environments that truly encourage this method of healing. Each retreat venue is chosen with very precise intention while ensuring that attention to detail, from sleeping options to food preparation, is vetted prior to choosing any retreat destination. We pride ourselves in servicing our clientele with beautiful surroundings, delicious healthy food, amazing excursion experiences, blissful spa offerings, and so much more. Our goal is for everyone to leave refreshed, renewed and inspired to achieve Ananda beyond the moments we share together.
Our leader Nicole and her highly trained staff of wellness advocates cultivate life changing experiences on all yoga retreats. Niyama Yoga Retreats carefully curate meaningful experiences that are focused on intention-based retreats. One can expect a focal point or purpose during each retreat and leave with a toolbox to bring into your life off of the mat. We feel very strongly about have a theme around each experience and each retreat offers a very diverse experience from the other.
